THEY SAY ABOUT US

I thought about what I could say about Steakcraft as a criticism, here it is – my drink was very strong, and I did not finish it. Other than that (and if you are a ‘drinker’, you’d LOVE it) yummy!
Ok, steaks – Denver and Cowgirl Ribeye – would’ve been Spinalis steak, but they were out – still, perfect cooking, great taste and a rich salad with Blue Cheese, fabulous bread, and the kind of understated easy dining that is all about the food. No big chandeliers, no pushy wine steward, this is a very chill vibe with quality food, the best French fries ever – REALLY! Anyhow, this was a dinner for us, just a husband and wife eating out and giving it a try. Delighted we did. Too many places claim to make a great steak – this place delivers. We were taken care of by Percy, (I think!) charming and unobtrusive with advice on menu that was spot on and wasn’t one of those *eye roll* ‘suggesting the most expensive menu items’ situations…many other Carmel restaurants, you know who you are try to maximize on their ‘suggestions’ – hey – I’d rather leave a meaty tip than pay for something that does not suit. So, come here for real food, well served without fuss and delicious – not pretentious.

Whether for a romantic dinner or celebration, Steakcraft in Carmel provides an extraordinary experience! Our first visit and we plan to return anytime we are in Carmel or Big Sur. Fresh, beautiful, delicious salads and burgers. Appreciate the kind, attentive staff. Thank you!

I come here often for dinner (Steakcraft Wed-Sat) and lunch (Monday – Saturday). I have had all the sandwiches but my go-to is the classic Turkey sandwich on toasted sourdough. Sometime I add avocado but it’s great without it as well. And those duck fat fries are delicious as well with the classic flight of aiolis. I’m going again today and will be getting another one of my favorites: the classic sliced beef sandwich on sourdough. Try all the sandwiches on different breads (doughnut, featherlight roll or sliced sourdough).

OMG! If you love steak, you have to experience full service dinner at Steakcraft!
We had dinner here last Saturday night and it was
truly the best steak I’ve ever had in my life!

Gorgeous restaurant, excellent service, the steak will literally blow your mind, delicious crafted cocktails and even the homemade bread was out of this world!!!! Our salads were fresh and delicious ( Caesar and Veggie Sprouted) and veggie sides were perfectly cooked.
Ended with flourless chocolate cake and pistachio cannoli.

I enjoyed every bite!

You have to experience this place! Extremely special!

Decided to check out the new spot and it didn’t disappoint. Space is done very well, clean, and staff is friendly. You sit yourself and order from the QR code on the table. Water, flatware and napkins are self serve. Once we ordered food came out quick.

Both sandwiches were really good! Bread was tasty and they didn’t shy on the amount of meat in the sandwich. My bread was too thin for the sandwich and fell apart but still ate the entire thing. Duck fat fries were good, too.

If I had to be picky, the WiFi service needs to be better if you’re going to have the guests use their phones for ordering and paying as I couldn’t get mine to work at all and heard other patrons have the same challenge. The self serve water glasses are tiny, TINY, which is annoying since you have to get refills yourself. Prices are on the high end. We will be back to check out dinner when they open up.
